- Abstrak :
The one of ornament plant central in Bekasi city in Mustikasari village, Mustikajaya district. This research has purpose to understanding consumer characteristic ornamental plants in village mustikasari, unterstanding any factor that influencing customer to purchase ornamental plant, understanding customer demand of any kind ornamental plants. The method that being use in this research in survey and the technique to collect the data use purposive sampling. The object of this research is the final customers that purchase ornamental plants in mustikasari village. The total amounts of respondent are 100 persons. The result of the research show the customer characteristic purchase ornamental plants in mustikasari village dominated by women approximately 3-5 persons with age less than 30 years old and they already married. The respondent has educational background diploma and bachelor they also has proffesion as housewife and the income per month more than Rp. 2.500.000,-. The respondent purchasing ornament plants frequencies one per month. Kind of ornament plants that have high demand are Adenium sp, Codenaanumvarigatum, Sanseveira sp, Aglonema sp. and Syzygium oleana. The result of analysis shows 22 variables that arrange two main component. Those 22 variables have strong correlation to main component first. Main component consist of sale, friend, age, motivation, culture, place of living, occupation, advertising, family, environment habit, situation or time of purchase, spare time, price, kinds of ornament plants, social status, service, education, relatives, uniqueness, income, parents habit, religion/believe.
